The O' Donoghue family have been breeding traditional Irish horses since before the establishment of BEC. Before moving to the facility in Glenville they bred horses in the Rochestown area and built up a solid reputation of producing quality horses for both sport and leisure. Our horses can be identified by the Rochestown prefix infront of their given names and their impressive bloodlines. The Rochestown name has made its mark on an international level, with horses finding new homes in places as far away as America. BEC is a member of the IDHBA (Irish Draught Horse Breeders Association).
